1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Velocity186 platform, website, and mobile application (the “Platform”).

The Platform is owned and operated by Velocity Elite Sports Performance Ltd (“Velocity”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or permitting a child to use the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the child.

  • You are at least 18 years of age.

  • You have authority to enter into this agreement.

  • You agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

The legally binding contract exists between Velocity Elite Sports Performance Ltd and the parent/legal guardian, not the child.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Velocity provides structured football development services including:

  • Skill Builder programmes

  • Structured training modules

  • Video submission for skill verification

  • Coach feedback

  • Performance tracking

  • Global and club-based leaderboards

  • Development resources and opportunities

Velocity supports development between club sessions but does not replace club coaching.

Velocity does not guarantee:

  • Selection, scouting, trials, or professional contracts

  • Performance outcomes

  • Injury prevention

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & RESPONSIBILITY

Parents/guardians are responsible for:

  • Creating and managing the account

  • Providing accurate information

  • Supervising the child’s use of the Platform

  • Ensuring appropriate content is uploaded

You agree not to:

  • Share login credentials

  • Provide false information

  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or offensive material

  • Upload content featuring other minors without appropriate consent

Velocity may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms.

4. VIDEO SUBMISSIONS & SKILL BUILDER REQUIREMENTS

Certain Skill Builder levels require players to upload video footage demonstrating completion of specific skills.

By uploading content, you confirm:

  • You are the legal guardian of the child in the video

  • You have the right to upload the footage

  • The content is football-related and appropriate

  • The content does not infringe third-party rights

Uploaded content may be used for:

  • Skill verification

  • Coach feedback

  • Progression approval

  • Internal performance analytics

Videos are private and are not publicly visible unless explicit written consent is provided.

Velocity reserves the right to reject or remove content that does not meet required standards.

5. RANKINGS & DISPLAY NAMES

The Platform includes:

  • Club-filtered rankings (visible within club hubs)

  • Global rankings (visible within the Platform)

Parents may choose:

  • Full name

  • Nickname

  • Anonymous display

Contact details are not displayed publicly.

By participating in verified Skill Builder activities, you acknowledge that ranking data may appear on rankings within the Platform.

Parents may request removal from leaderboards at any time.

Velocity reserves the right to moderate leaderboard access in cases of misuse or manipulation.

6. SUBSCRIPTION & PAYMENT TERMS

The Platform operates on a recurring subscription model.

Velocity currently offers the following subscription options:

  • Weekly subscription: €3.99 per week (VAT inclusive where applicable)
     

  • Annual subscription: €165 per year (VAT inclusive where applicable)
     

By subscribing, you agree that:

  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (weekly or annually, depending on the plan selected).
     

  • Payment will be charged to your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period.
     

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe or other authorised payment providers.
     

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

  • Cancellation prevents future billing.
     

  • You will retain access to the Platform until the end of the current billing period.
     

  • Cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of the subscription term unless required under applicable consumer protection law.
     

For annual subscriptions:

  • The full annual fee is charged upfront.
     

  • Early cancellation does not entitle you to a partial or pro-rata refund unless required by law.
     

Velocity Elite Sports Performance Ltd reserves the right to modify subscription pricing upon reasonable notice. Any changes will not affect the current billing period but will apply to future renewals.

 

 

7. REFUNDS

Refunds are provided only where:

  • Required under consumer protection law

  • A verified technical failure prevents access to the service

Refund requests must be submitted in writing.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content including:

  • Training programmes

  • Videos

  • Branding

  • Design

  • Course materials

Are the intellectual property of Velocity Elite Sports Performance Ltd.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written consent.

9. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

Velocity processes personal data in accordance with:

  • The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

  • Applicable Irish data protection law

We implement:

  • Secure data storage

  • Restricted access controls

  • Encryption in transit

  • Safeguarding procedures

Parents may request:

  • Access to data

  • Correction of data

  • Deletion of data

10. SAFEGUARDING

Velocity operates a safeguarding-first environment.

  • All content is moderated

  • Video submissions are private

  • Accounts are parent-controlled

  • Inappropriate content may result in suspension

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account to maintain a safe environment.

​

 

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velocity Elite Sports Performance Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Injuries sustained during training

  • Loss of opportunity

  • Selection decisions

  • Indirect or consequential losses

Participation is at your own risk.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

12. TERMINATION

Velocity may suspend or terminate accounts where:

  • These Terms are breached

  • Fraudulent payment activity occurs

  • Inappropriate behaviour is detected

You may terminate by cancelling your subscription.

​

 

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

​
