Who We Are
Velocity 186 is an elite soccer and sports performance group founded in the summer of 2023 by Ex-Professional Footballer Phil Reilly. In just one year, we have coached over 300+ players, driven by our vision to bring elite training to players both domestically and internationally. We've already built strong partnerships to further this goal.
About Phil Reilly:
Phil Reilly, a native of Loughrea, Co. Galway, began his soccer career locally with Loughrea Rams, Lakeside Celtic & Willow Park before earning his first professional contract with Manchester City. He later played for Stockport County in League 1 and returned to Ireland to play in the League of Ireland with Galway United and Athlone Town. Phil then emigrated to Australia, where he played for six seasons in the National Premier League in Sydney.
In 2022 Phil was the Head Coach of the Athlone Town Senior Women's team who finished runners up in both the League & Cup.
